Bevel gear to control the position of the microscope column above the objective. Due to the high resistance to motion, it is necessary to use a stepper motor with a sufficient moment of force. The gearbox must realize two degrees of freedom of movement of the column, therefore there is also a set of gears with a variable working length of the shaft. Except for ball bearings and couplings, the whole structure is printed using the FDM method.
