It is with great joy that we convey the greetings received from the member of the SPENT circle, Ms Oliwia Hałuszczak, who from March this year is an intern at CERN. Ms.Oliwia is researching silicon detectors that will be placed in the CMS experiment. Verifies, among others their properties after exposure to different doses of radiation, which is a simulation of what will happen in the CMS. This action will allow to assess how much damage the detector will be after irradiation and whether it will be suitable for further work. The project is to end with the replacement of one part of the CMS detector with a structure consisting of the silicon detectors developed under this project. We wish Ms. Oliwia good luck in implementing the internship and we look forward to further relations.
