Prof. Teodor Gotszalk, head of the Department of Nanometrology, became a scholar of Kościuszko Foundation program. A scholarship supports scientific exchange between Poland and the United States. Prof. Gotszalk will visit the University of California and the National Center for Electron Microscopy at Berkeley. During his stay, Professor will study properties of nanostructures deposited by focus electron beam using electron microscopy methods. These structures will be used to fabricate field nanoemitters, nanolamps and electron-emission nanocoolers powered by low voltages in a vacuum.
Congratulations!
